La Pavoni's shiny, square-shaped espresso machine is 12 by 16 inches in size and looks more like a regular coffee maker than models with a pull-down handle. It's attractive enough to leave out on the counter but light enough to put away if storage space permits. This model has a chromed body made of sturdy ABS plastic, with black wrap-around accent stripes. It has push-button features for frothing milk and automatically metering out water, so it's a good choice for those new to making their own lattes. All the gadgets needed for making drinks are included: a tamper, drip tray, measuring ladle, and cappuccino attachment.
